A khadua Katan Banarsi silk saree is always timeless. And, it becomes precious when it is a vintage styled Banarsi with motifs derived from revived Baluchuri designs. The black rich silk base accentuated with gold and silver butas all through, has a gorgeous ornamental border with meena in it. The palla is a complete statement with double row of paisleys woven into it. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving of each motif separately. The saree has a luxurious richness that is characteristic of a Banarsi. It has a rich drape that adorns the body gracefully. It comes with a blouse piece that matches the saree.
